Things to do in the Upper Valley
The Upper Valley offers a wide variety of things to see and do. There are far too many things to do than I can list here. When you stay with us you can peruse our room binders for many restaurant, shopping and museum suggestions. Below I have listed a few of our favorite places!
We love King Arthur Flour. They have a wonderful shop where you can buy all things baking related. They have a fun little cafe. and if you are so inclined they offer baking classes as well.
Vermont Institute of Natural Science. A super fun place to visit! There a tree canopy walk, raptor enclosures. Located in Quechee, you can make a day of it and visit Quechee gorge and do some antique shopping!
Visit the home and studio of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, just over the Cornish-Windsor bridge in New Hampshire.
Definitely one of my favorite places, as well as where I work part time in the summer! Take the autoraod to within 3/4 mile of the summit, or take one of the many trails. Beautiful views!
Visit Vermont's only national park. Close to Woodstock. Tour the ground, take a hike, tour the house. Also visit Billings farm, located in close proximity.
Located right here in Windsor! Located in an historic 4 story brick building, this museum houses a world class collection of historic machines! Fascinating place indeed!
